about this tool
Most rhyme websites are built for crosswords and word games. This one is for people writing songs and poems, where a word has to land on the right beat — not just sound alike.
Rhyme tools have existed online for two decades, and most work the same way: type a word, get a list of things that sound similar, maybe filter by syllable count. That's useful for finding a rhyme. It doesn't tell you whether the rhyme will sit right in the line you're writing.
Where the punch falls in a word is usually what decides whether a rhyme works or just technically counts. This tool shows you that straight away, instead of making you sound it out yourself.
Every search looks up how each word is really pronounced, then works out its beats and where the punch lands. Nothing is guessed from the spelling. You get a row of dots above each word, so you can see the rhythm without reading a thing.
This doesn't write verses, lyrics, or songs for you. There are plenty of tools that do, and if that's what you're after, they'll serve you better than this will.
This is for the step after that — when you've got a line of your own and you need to know whether the word you picked actually lands on the beat. It's a small tool that does one thing.
Saving your drafts, and a way to export what you've written. Small improvements to a small tool.
